Artist Statement
For me, painting is storytelling. I started working with oils in 2001, this sort of opened up a door for me to share my thoughts and a bit of personality. This motivates me everyday. I am always working on new concepts and imagery that can express them. They range from serious to ridiculous possibly and occasionally political. My goal is to explore different ways to convey an idea or emotion that will resonate with the viewer. This is my aim. I am interested in sharing a thought a story an atmosphere.
